I traversed through the time,
Avoiding spending it on myself,
Hunting for the interesting places and faces,
Winning the gullible hearts of the people,
Seeing my projection from their perspective,
Because what I think of myself,
Being a projection of hate branded by my close kin,
Which I believed to be the gospel of my existence,
Thus started the circus of being the people’s pleaser,
For the overall pleasure of the wider society,
Constantly avoiding looking at myself, hearing my voice,
Until one day I found myself, staring from a mirror,
My voice caught me, deeper in bass than others usually hear,
My soul accused me, for leaving it unhealed,
The eyes staring back at me from the projection of a mirror,
Judging me for abandoning my real self,
Because accepting what you are,
From other perspectives is far easier,
Than believing you are someone, something,
And building yourself to be that person,
I might have pretended to run far away from myself,
But my sense of self had eventually proved,
To be stronger than reality I perceive,
My conscience always overweighed my universe.
