I felt the love at first sight,
When I first witnessed the sun,
Shining radiantly through vast sky,
How can one lose track of his beauty,
Me too like many of my peers,
Started gazing at him affectionately,
Not expecting anything in return,
Just grateful for his existence,
But as the time passed,
He fell into the depths of world,
Leaving darkness and a broken heart behind,
Was it the way I looked at him,
Or was my love not enough,
Worse did my presence made him uncomfortable,
I was ready to die if it can bring him back,
Looking with anticipation from where he came,
I waited as praying that I pass this test of time,
There he was after what it felt as eternity,
The Sun shining with all his glory,
Smiles filled my face as I forgot my fears,
Slowly getting moist with the tears.
