Right from when I’m born,
I have been on the run,
Towards the bright light,
The eye-blinding sight,
At the end of the line,
Called the journey of life,
I was told I will find whatever I desire,
Land, money, love, you name and it’s there,
I raced people facing the time,
Passing each obstacle it threw at me,
Ignoring every temporary happiness,
Life offered in the middle of my progress,
I ran to overtake others,
I ran to master my desires,
When I reached the end,
I saw a man with a beard,
Who asked me about any regrets I hold from my life,
I said everything I did was to reach the light,
He smiled at me to ask,
What did I expect in return for accomplishing such task,
I said everything that I lost for this pursuits sake,
He then pushed me from the edge,
