All my life, people never believed,
Whenever I told them what really happened,
It starts with, “When I met this mermaid,
At the shore of this lake….”
They always debunked it as a fake,
Will you hear my story, for this old man’s sake,
When I met this mermaid,
At the shore of this lake,
When I was lost in the woods,
With no idea where to head,
I was greeted with a godly face,
With a smile that can make thousands chase,
I was enquired about nature of my presence at that place,
To which I replied I’m lost because I’m not that wise,
Then we talked for hours,
Slowly falling for the spell of hers,
I lost grip on my senses until she revealed her true colors,
In desperation I made her an offer,
That anyone who will become aware,
Of this particular story will be next prey of her.
